About The Role

The Early Childhood Teacher delivers high-quality early childhood education aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and organisational objectives. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that foster a love of lifelong learning among children and their families. You will ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to the Child Safe Standards, manage developmental records and other administrative tasks, and support the Centre Director in daily operations while maintaining open communication with families regarding children's progress. This role also focuses on delivering quality customer service and creating value for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and ongoing professional development.
  
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection.
  
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
  
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.

Other Important Information

• The commencing salary for this position is up to $76.9k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities to a maximum of $89.1k per annum upon assessment of skills and performance, plus 12% superannuation.
  
• Permanent full-time role available.
  
• 9 day fortnight.
  
• Location: Umina Children's Centre.
