Our client is a global Oil & Gas consultancy and requires 2 x Mechanical Integrity Engineers to join the team. These are Perth-based roles with a broad scope.

The positions involve working on the Barrow Island assets, focusing on onshore and offshore Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and brownfield engineering. We are seeking candidates with the following skills; possessing all is not necessary:

  • Senior Mechanical Integrity Engineer: approximately 8 years of experience, significant RBI experience.
  • Mechanical Integrity Engineer: approximately 3 years of experience, desirable experience preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, undertaking, and delivering work scopes related to mechanical integrity.
  • Reviewing inspection data, trend analysis, remnant life assessments, fitness-for-service assessments, and providing repair and replacement recommendations.
  • Designing and executing brownfield projects.
  • Liaising with clients' engineering, construction, and operations personnel to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Having 8+ years of engineering experience in asset maintenance, asset integrity, and brownfield projects within the oil and gas environment.
  • Understanding NDT techniques, managing asset integrity databases, conducting fitness-for-service assessments, and plant inspections.
  • Experience in pressure plant integrity, analysis of oil & gas processing equipment, tank inspections, corrosion principles, pressure vessel, and heat exchanger design.
