About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team on a short-term assignment in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical / Piping minor works projects, working across design teams, construction, operation advisors, and asset front line for scope definition, design, and execution.

  • Progress and own the whole lifecycle of associated Mechanical and Piping MOCs (Management of Change).
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables and work packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering elements.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, timeline, scope, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor and oversee project progress, identify technical challenges and implement solutions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working in Management of Change process and framework.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with extensive experience in Oil & Gas Operation/Projects.
  • Project Engineering/Mech/Piping Engineering knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in Mechanical Design with a solid understanding of engineering principles in pressure vessel, piping, valves.
  • Experience working with multiple discipline engineers, procurement, quality, and construction management personnel.
