About the role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as the subject matter expert across secondary systems. You will collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure project delivery is safe, compliant, and efficient. With a focus on secondary electrical systems, you will guide and review technical outputs while providing mentoring and leadership across the team.

Duties
  • Lead design strategy and direction for secondary systems
  • Provide expert advice to design and project teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
  • Mentor and develop engineers within the team
Skills and experience
  • Strong background in secondary systems design for energy or utilities projects
  • Chartered status or working towards it
  • Track record providing technical leadership and mentoring
  • Relevant degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements
