Overview

The role is based at Gooseberry Dental, a community-focused practice seeking a Practice Manager who will lead with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for people. The position is full-time: Monday to Thursday 8.15–5.30 and Friday 8.15–4.30.

Responsibilities
  • Making sure the practice runs smoothly day-to-day so our team can focus on providing excellent care.
  • Supporting, motivating, and developing our staff so they feel valued and can do their best work.
  • Building strong relationships with patients and ensuring their experience is always a positive one.
  • Keeping the practice organised and compliant with all standards and regulations.
  • Managing schedules, stock, and suppliers in a way that keeps everything running efficiently.
  • Helping the practice grow by spotting opportunities to improve and evolve.
Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience of NHS contract management/claim reconciliation/contract monitoring
  • Good understanding of NHS regulations/GDC standards/code of conduct and CQC compliance
  • Experienced user of Exact/Dentally software
  • A people person who is approachable, supportive, and a great communicator
  • Organised and reliable, with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident with technology and able to learn new systems
  • Cares about patients and staff alike

Desirable

  • Experience in managing a team (dental or healthcare background is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with Boxly CRM & Voicestack
  • Experience of private growth aligners/implants
  • GDC registered
