Bayswater North, Victoria, Australia Plena Healthcare Full time
Who We Are

At Plena Healthcare, we're more than a provider — we're a national leader in allied health services across the Aged Care, Community, and Disability sectors, with over 20 years of experience. Our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, podiatrists, and speech pathologists delivers person-centred care that truly makes a difference.

We are a values-led organisation:

  • We bring energy
  • We act with integrity
  • We nurture and care
  • We listen and connect

When we come together, we shine — for our clients, our communities, and each other.

Your Opportunity

As a qualified Physiotherapist working in Residential Aged Care, you'll be part of a passionate and collaborative multidisciplinary team transforming allied health delivery.

You'll contribute to something bigger — delivering care through our award-winning Plena Care Pathway, recognised with the 2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence. This industry-leading program enables you to build individualised therapy plans based on each resident's goals and lifestyle priorities. Through one-on-one sessions, group-based active aging programs, and evidence-based interventions, you'll play a key role in improving quality of life for older Australians.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will be diverse, rewarding, and people-focused. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to support activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls prevention, skin integrity, joint management, and pain relief
  • Designing and delivering tailored therapy programs that improve function and support independence
  • Providing one-on-one therapy interventions and group-based exercise sessions
  • Participating in care plan reviews and team case discussions
  • Adapting to the needs of the facility and contributing positively to the wider team
  • Practising in accordance with your professional scope and the needs of Plena Healthcare's service model

You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality, resident-focused care every day.

Why Join Plena?

At Plena, we prioritise people, purpose, and progress. That means:

  • A supportive team culture that values your voice and your contribution
  • Flexible working arrangements that support your lifestyle and wellbeing
  • Access to a structured and well-resourced clinical framework
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development
  • A chance to work with a team that is truly making a difference in aged care

We're proud of our reputation, our people, and the impact we make — and we're excited to welcome professionals who share our commitment to high-quality care.

We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to supporting an inclusive & diverse workplace. We encourage and welcome applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, people of all ages, cultural identities, gender identities and expressions & LGBTIQA+ people."
