About UsAmaranta Grill and Bar is a popular Indian restaurant overlooking the stunning Hobart city. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality food with warm hospitality. We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile team member who can work as both a Kitchen Hand and Middle Person in our busy kitchen.
Role OverviewThis is a dual role where you will assist in food preparation, wash dishes and kitchen cleaning.
Key Responsibilities- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting).
- Clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ensure the service area is tidy.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth, fast, and friendly service.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- A supportive and friendly work environment.
