About Us

Amaranta Grill and Bar is a popular Indian restaurant overlooking the stunning Hobart city. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality food with warm hospitality. We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile team member who can work as both a Kitchen Hand and Middle Person in our busy kitchen.

Role Overview

This is a dual role where you will assist in food preparation, wash dishes and kitchen cleaning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting).
  • Clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and ensure the service area is tidy.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth, fast, and friendly service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
