The Opportunity:

The Deputy Chief Financial Officer plays an integral role in the management of budgeting, financial planning, and complex financial issues whilst managing the performance and development of the APAC finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, APAC, you will work collaboratively to support the achievement of Aon's strategic goals including the development of the region's financial analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing key financial and business leadership to the CFO and APAC leadership team.
  2. Collaborate with the Regional CFOs and Solution line CFOs to support business decision, reporting, and analysis.
  3. Lead the APAC Centre of excellence and APAC finance support team.
  4. Provide business and finance partnership and advice to the APAC leadership team.
  5. Taking a financial lead in significant cross-organisational business cases and long-term planning.
  6. Provide a "whole organisation" business perspective to the CFO, the Finance Managers, and the wider organisation.

About you:

This position will suit someone who is committed and passionate about ensuring the success of their team and the customers they serve. Suitable candidates will also have:

  1. Experience working in a comparably sized, scaling, global organization with an understanding of international finances.
  2. Excellent organisational, analytical, and conceptual skills.
  3. Ability to problem solve multiple time-sensitive projects.
  4. Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, and/or commerce along with membership of an appropriate professional accounting body.
