We are looking for a Learning Insights Developer.

General Scope
  • Full-time onsite work in Adelaide
  • Duration: September - December 2025 (with possible extension)
  • Standard 5-day workweek
Requirements Overview

We are looking for a Developer that will play a key role in building and supporting a suite of products within the Learning Insights project for a customer in the higher education sector. These projects include a significant teaching system that integrates engagement data from the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Working under limited direction and with a high degree of autonomy, the Developer will deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions that support academic and administrative functions. This role demands strong technical expertise in enterprise-grade platforms and a commitment to continuous improvement and mentoring.

Key Skills
  • Significant demonstrated experience with web development using the .NET framework.
  • Strong proficiency in relational data modelling and SQL, particularly within Oracle environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data transformation and migration tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience analysing existing application processes and designing and implementing improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience developing using Object Oriented design, Service Oriented Architecture and API design is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrating systems through APIs is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with effective cross functional team relationships to develop and deliver effective business solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
Key Qualifications
  • Graduate degree with at least 3 years subsequent relevant experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education / training
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience with identity management technologies such as SAML, OAuth and SCIM.
