ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

We are seeking a full-time Distribution Centre Operator (Warehouse Team Member) for our Welshpool WA facility

Our Distribution Centres are the hub of activity, crucial for ensuring our customers receive the right stock on time—this guarantees a positive customer experience from start to finish.

You should have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude that is eager to learn new processes and collaborate with the team to keep our DC operating optimally, with a continuous focus on safety. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working across all departments within the Distribution Centre (inbound, outbound, HD) as needed
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately for dispatch
  • Unloading and loading containers and trucks manually and using MHE
  • Conducting periodic stock checks
  • Performing pre-start MHE checks
  • Maintaining housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Using electronic equipment such as RF scanners
  • Working effectively within a team environment
  • Following directions from Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Management

Experience in warehousing or labor roles is beneficial, but we are also open to candidates looking to start their career and develop new skills.

Skills and qualifications we value include:

  • Experience in warehousing and distribution environments
  • LO licence (required); additional licences are a plus
  • Knowledge of WHS standards
  • Experience with inbound/receiving processes
  • RF system knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
  • Physical fitness and strength (furniture is heavy)
  • Teamwork mindset
  • Comfort working at heights

This role involves physical activity; candidates should enjoy being active and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical check to confirm they can safely perform the job requirements.
