The Instructional Coach – Design & Pedagogy plays a key role in strengthening teaching and learning across the College. This position focuses on coaching teachers across all learning areas, with a strong emphasis on embedding Teach Like a Champion (TLAC) techniques and elevating the quality of classroom practice.

Successful applicants will meet the following key selection criteria:

  • Capacity to lead and nurture the Catholic identity and ethos of the school, and a commitment to ongoing professional formation as a Catholic leader.
  • Ability to articulate and implement a shared vision that aligns with our Mercy values and the ethos of the school.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with parents, students, colleagues and the broader community.
  • Proven capacity to lead, support, and engage staff in a collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage change effectively in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Forward-thinking approach to innovation, including the integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence in ways that enhance teaching, learning, and administration.
