Reporting to the Senior Product Owner - Data working as an integral member of the Data Product team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the business intelligence solutions including cubes, ETL packages, reports etc. In addition, you will develop a subject matter expertise in building effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all information provided to internal clients is consistent and accurate.

In this role, you'll:

Core BI responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into efficient technical design that enables reporting solutions.
  • Design and build BI reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Design and create new logical and/or physical data marts using Snowflake/DBT to enable data for reporting solutions.
  • Develop and execute building aggregated data models on Power BI data models (Tabular models preferred).
  • Maintain business intelligence data models to design, develop and generate both standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Perform and execute data analysis, database design and data modelling using Kimball dimensional modelling.
  • Manage current BI solutions for all BI data assets. This will also include data analysis, data profiling and debugging.
  • Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.
  • Resolve end user reporting problems through collaboration with IT and relevant support teams.
Stakeholder management
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to solve their reporting requirements that will answer their business problems.
  • Engage with source system SMEs and data custodians to ensure development of reporting solutions, which will meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate reporting for the business, like Customer Analytics & Risk teams.
Data Governance
  • Assist in data risk identification & mitigation and adept at troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports.
Team Work
  • Working individually or in team projects.
  • Learn and adapt new technologies and share knowledge with the team.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement through best practice sharing and building upon existing documentation.
About you:
  • 3+ years' experience in designing, enhancing & supporting BI Solutions using Microsoft BI stack - Power BI
  • A strong understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts like dimensional modelling.
  • Experience in developing reports using Snowflake, DBT and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for managing stakeholders and working with the business.
  • Documentation skills along with other MS office tools, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Experience in optimizing & debugging SQL queries.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills.
