The Capacity and Availability Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing system capacity, ensuring high availability, and implementing performance enhancement strategies for the JP2060 Ph4 Defence program, which delivers an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System to improve clinical decision-making for the ADF.
- Develop and implement capacity planning strategies for HKM System and AWS resources, focusing on performance, cost-effectiveness, and demand management.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve performance issues and maintain high availability.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline deployment, scaling, and management of system resources.
- Establish monitoring systems with alerts to ensure rapid response and system performance tracking.
- Ensure security compliance and vulnerability management through adherence to best practices and collaboration with security teams.
- Extensive ITIL expertise with experience in Capacity and Availability management, especially in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong technical skills in resource management tools, monitoring solutions, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges proactively and document findings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication skills for technical briefs and policy interpretation.
The role requires Australian citizenship, NV-1 security clearance, and eligibility for NV-2 clearance.
