Executive Search - Consumer Goods & Luxury Retail

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will take on a standalone role, working closely with both the JV and the Vietnamese parent company. The position requires deep understanding of Australian and Vietnamese financial and accounting regulations, and the ability to serve as a financial bridge between the two entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial and accounting functions for the JV, ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
  • Act as the key point of contact to communicate and reconcile financial matters between the Vietnamese parent company and the JV partner in Australia.
  • Coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Support external audits and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Use SAP (the company's accounting software system) to manage financial records and reporting.
  • Provide strategic input on financial planning and business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Based in Australia, preferably with previous experience in the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of both Australian and Vietnamese accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Vietnamese language ability is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural or joint venture environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a small, dynamic team.
  • Management-level experience in finance or accounting functions.

Preferred Profiles:

  • Vietnamese international students currently working in Australia, or overseas Vietnamese professionals (Việt Kiều) with Vietnamese language ability.
  • Candidates without permanent residency (Green Card) are welcome to apply; the company is open to sponsoring a work permit.
