The Role

As the Senior Executive Leader, you will lead ASIC's Licensing function and play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and stability of the Australia's financial system.

The Licensing team serves as the frontline gatekeeper to the financial services and credit sectors. The team assess applications for financial services and consumer credit licences, as well as registrations for company and SMSF audit services. The team assesses whether applicants are fit and proper, have the necessary knowledge and skills, and possess adequate resources and systems to perform their roles efficiently, honestly and fairly.

About You

To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the demonstrated ability to lead, support and influence large, high performing teams that handle high volumes of time-sensitive work in a dynamic and complex environment.

Ideally this senior leadership experience will have been gained leading a regulatory permission or licensing function within a government authority.

You will be able to provide thought leadership, drive strategic innovation and shape policy and processes that uphold regulatory integrity and public trust.
