Graduate Occupational Therapist role supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes within a collaborative multidisciplinary team at IPAR in Hobart.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case management with manageable caseloads supported by Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Conducting assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
  • Delivering the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
About You

What you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Strong time management skills
  • Current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
