This opportunity exists within our busy General Practice and Urgent Care Clinic in Townsville, QLD:Backed by state and federal governments, Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCCs) have already reduced pressure on the hospital system and makes it easier for Townsville residents to see a doctor or nurse when they require urgent but not life-threatening care.
Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are GP-led services providing more options for people seeking access to urgent medical care.
We want to hear from applicants who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably with an interest or experience in assessing and treating patients who would normally be triaged in a hospital setting under Category 4 and 5.
Attractive hourly rates are on offer. We require a VR GP to commit to regular shifts in the UCC and to cover annual leave for our current GP's, as they arise.
About the Clinic:- Townsville Family Clinic and Urgent Care Clinic
- 8 rooms with procedure/treatment room
- GP Clinic 8am-5pm Monday to Friday
- Urgent Care Clinic open 11am-9pm, 7 days.
- Mostly private billing
- This clinic attracts a lot of walk-in customers
- Reserved On-Site Doctor's Parking
- Onsite gym, café, child minding, pharmacy, pilates, physiotherapy
- Opportunity to work in other Bupa Medical Centres as they open across the country
