The Physical Security Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of physical security within Sydney. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities. The Associate Manager will lead a team of security professionals, coordinate with external security and law enforcement agencies, and respond to security incidents and emergencies. Key responsibilities include risk assessment, security audits, incident management, and continuous improvement of security measures in close collaboration with key stakeholders both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and enforce physical security policies and procedures.

- Manage and lead a team of security personnel.

- Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits.

- Coordinate with law enforcement and external security agencies.

- Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards.

- Provide training and guidance to security staff and stakeholders.

- Monitor and analyze security systems and technologies for effectiveness.

- Prepare and present security reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience in physical security management with at least 5 years experience.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Knowledge of security systems and technologies.

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.

- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.
