Overview

Join to apply for the Allied Health Assistant - TACP role at Bendigo Advertiser

We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) team, helping clients over 65 achieve their rehabilitation goals while living at home. You will be part of a friendly, cohesive team of allied health and nursing professionals based at Wallsend Health Campus. You'll work with clients in a 12-week rehabilitation and transitional program, supporting them to live well and safely in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on role in helping clients over 65 achieve rehabilitation goals
  • Deliver rehabilitation programs and motivate clients
  • Mix of direct client care and administration; share workload with other AHAs

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Allied Health Assistant or has a certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
Additional Information
  • To be eligible for permanent employment you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part-time and temporary vacancies.
