About the role
ALPA is seeking passionate and enthusiastic retailers to:

  • Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community
  • Train and mentor local team members
  • Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy
  • Work with merchandising, nutrition and local stakeholders to meet community needs

About the role
ALPA is seeking passionate and enthusiastic retailers to:

  • Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community
  • Train and mentor local team members
  • Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy
  • Work with merchandising, nutrition and local stakeholders to meet community needs
Skills and experience
  • Minimum of three years' retail management experience (mandatory)
  • Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale and staff management
  • Certificate III in Retail or an ability/willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
  • Ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains and cultural considerations/sensitivities
