Job Description

Mugu is a Melbourne-based online furniture brand creating modular shelving systems that are minimal, flexible, and built to last.

We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to help run our small warehouse operation in Port Melbourne. This is a part-time role with flexible hours — ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, is organised, and takes pride in handling quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Furniture assembly and packaging using hand tools
  • Inventory handling: stock counts, restocking, basic tracking
  • Order dispatch: picking, packing, labelling, courier handover
  • General warehouse organisation and tidiness
  • Occasional receiving and unpacking deliveries

What We're Looking For

  • Independent and proactive working style
  • Physically fit (can lift up to 20kg)
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Experience with warehouse, packing or assembly (preferred, not required)
  • Comfortable using basic tools

Job Details

  • Part-time: 2–3 days/week (Mon–Fri)
  • Flexible hours: Typically between 9am–6pm, can be adjusted
  • Located in Port Melbourne, VIC
  • Pay: $25.05 – $36.55 per hour + super
