As a store team member, you play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving sales goals. This position is responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, maintaining the store's appearance, and ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day store activities. A Team Member is expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a positive shopping environment.

What's involved : -

  • Assisting customers on the retail floor with product selection and queries
  • Processing sales through the POS system
  • Replenishing and merchandising stock to maintain a tidy and inviting store
  • Assisting with Click & Collect and online order pickups
  • Supporting general cleanliness and presentation of the store
  • Unloading deliveries and moving stock between store and warehouse
  • Assisting in lifting and transporting bulky furniture and mattresses
  • Preparing customer orders for delivery or pickup
  • Following safety protocols and manual handling procedures

What We're are looking for : -

Previous experience in Retail with an ability to provide great customer serviceAbility to multi-taskBe willing to work a wide range of retail hours including morning, evening, weekends and public holidaysHave an eagerness to learn and share ideasA respect for both team members and customers and an ability to gain rapport and build relationships.General capability with Microsoft / Google suite and previous experience reporting retail sales and training POS systemsSkills and Abilities :Friendly, approachable, Team player and confident in customer servicePhysically fit – able to lift and move heavy items safelyStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a teamComfortable using basic technology (POS systems, tablets, or warehouse apps)A "can-do" attitude and willingness to jump in where neededRetail or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not essentialAvailability on weekends and flexible weekday shifts
