About The Role

We have a rewarding opportunity at our Aluminium Smelter in Portland, Victoria, for a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer, working Monday to Friday.

You will lead Portland's Asset Integrity program, requiring a thorough knowledge of engineering principles and strategy, with responsibilities including:

  • Developing and documenting Asset Integrity Equipment Management Strategies.
  • Ensuring assets are fit for purpose and aligned with the 10-year strategic plan.
  • Identifying long-term improvement opportunities focusing on equipment reliability.
  • Conducting asset management and maintenance reviews for compliance.
  • Developing risk management strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Assisting with equipment budget development.
  • Staying updated with new technology and best practices.

What You Can Bring To The Role

We seek someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
  • Experience in maintenance, reliability, or plant engineering, especially in heavy process industries.
  • Commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on coaching skills for system and process implementation.
  • Motivation to learn and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Initiative and continuous improvement mindset.
