Fremantle Hospital currently have two (2) permanent full-time Senior Pharmacist appointments available to be filled. These can be filled on a fixed-term basis, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Job share may be considered.
Senior Pharmacist - Surgical Medicine (1.0 FTE)
This Position Promotes Safe, Rational And Cost-effective Drug Therapy By Providing Specialised Clinical Pharmacy Services To The Surgical Medicine Service. You Will
- Monitor the patient's total medication profile, providing drug information and undertaking teaching and research
- Plan, implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care and participates in quality improvement initiatives within surgical medicine
- Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the provision of Pharmacy Services to surgical medicine and provides supervision, training, education and support to pharmacy staff and other disciplines
- Ensure practice is in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and SMHS policies and guidelines
