Overview

CHC Helicopter, Heli-One division, has an opportunity for a Stores Person role in Bassendean, Western Australia. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time appointment based at Bassendean with potential domestic travel to other CHC locations. Reporting to the Stores and Inventory Supervisor, the Stores Person will accurately account for all movements of supplies at the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Catalogue and label storage details on items ensuring all goods received conform with regulatory and company policies.
  • Process and complete orders including selection and issue of parts.
  • Process the return of goods back to stock.
  • Binning/replenishing.
  • Assist with stock takes.
  • Update AMOS system as required.
  • Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards to ensure the store area is in a presentable condition.
  • Play a key role in CHC's ability to set the standard for safety, helping to maintain our position as world leader.
  • Be part of a 24/7 on-call roster for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements.
  • Assist at other locations with Stores and Inventory when required.
  • Organised and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Qualifications and requirements
  • 1-2 years of previous warehousing experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Forklift license preferred.
  • AMOS experience desirable.
  • Dangerous goods and WHMIS training an advantage.
  • Applicant must be an Australian citizen and be able to hold and maintain applicable clearances as required for the position.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to other CHC locations when required.
