This is an exciting opportunity to lead mecwacare's Home Nursing Services, driving growth, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, responsive care for our community clients. The role involves overseeing home nursing and assessment services, ensuring they meet client needs while maintaining excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will develop systems and policies that enhance business performance, staff engagement, and client satisfaction.
As a key leader, you will inspire your team, manage risk, and navigate funding programs and sector reforms to help achieve mecwacare's vision of exceptional care for the Victorian community.
What you bring :
Minimum 2 years' experience in a nursing management roleCurrent Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRADemonstrated leadership skills and proven success leading nursing teamsStrong financial and business management acumenUnderstanding of community funding programs (e.g., CHSP, DVA)Experience engaging and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersSuccess in developing and implementing effective systems, policies, and proceduresExperience with electronic client management systems (Carelink+ experience desirable)High-level problem solving, analytical skills, and a strong focus on risk managementCommitment to quality outcomes for clients, staff, and the organisationExcellent communication skills—both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCurrent Victorian Driver's Licence and satisfactory National Police CheckDesirable :
Management qualificationsKnowledge of the aged care, community, and disability services contextExperience with change management and continuous improvement initiativesUnderstanding of current sector reforms and their implicationsWhat we offer :
