We are seeking an experienced, energetic Account Manager for the state of Queensland.

Minimum 3-5 years Account Manager experience

Knowledge working with Architectural Specifiers important

Work from home office

You will be joining a successful and reputable national company, ASI JD MacDonald. Our company has been a market leader in Australia for over 50 years and is a subsidiary of the American based American Specialties group headquartered in New York.

You will be taking over a state that has been well managed by the current Account Manager for over 16 years so your area is well developed but with many opportunities as we explore new market opportunities with our expanding range of products.

Focus and responsibilities

Focussing on the Commercial Washroom and Toilet Partitions market for the state of Queensland, you will be dealing with a broad spectrum of customers ranging from architects/specifiers to trade wholesalers and major end users, within a dynamic and varied position.

You will be working from your home office and provided the equipment to perform your role. Preferably your home office should be in the Brisbane or Gold Coast area where the majoriet of your client base is located.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for account management of existing customers as well as further business development with significant end users. Your focus will be on ensuring our products are specified by architects and that those specifications are honoured by our wholesalers. You must be a self starter who thrives within a busy and varied environment and have the strong ability to be well organised, to research and manage multiple projects, and enjoy meeting targets. This position is fast paced and requires determination, a sharp focus and intuition.

Qualifications and skills

You will be well presented and have an eagerness to contribute to our overall success. It is important you have strong relationship building and communication skills as well as being computer savvy supported by having a solid administration ability.
