Overview

Right at Home Melbourne North (South Morang) is looking for a female personal care worker (PCW).

MUST BE HAPPY TO TRAVEL WITH OWN CAR.

You will be providing care for every client's individual needs in the comfort of their own home. Your assigned tasks are instructed by registered nurses in the client care plan.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing and toileting
  • Assisting clients with meal preparation
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Driving clients to appointments and social activities
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client's health and/or wellbeing and promptly reporting to RN
  • Accurately and thoroughly documenting services provided into Visual Care app
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in community care (dementia care experience preferred)
  • Cert III in aged care
  • First aid and CPR
  • NDIS screen check
  • Working with children check
  • Driver's license and own car with comprehensive car insurance
Qualifications

CERTIFICATE 3 OR 4 IN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT OR EQUIVALENT
