Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Macquarie Bank Limited Full time

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you'll bring strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a keen eye for identifying top talent. While your primary focus will be supporting opportunities across our Banking and Financial Services group, the role will also support digital, product, and middle office roles.

At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

Working alongside Resourcing Specialists, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers, you'll help shape sourcing strategies, build high-quality talent pipelines, and contribute to broader recruitment campaigns. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your market research and strategic sourcing capabilities, while developing your influence as a talent advisor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactive sourcing, screening, and talent pooling candidates using LinkedIn, internal databases, and external job boards
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor movements, and industry developments that impact sourcing strategies
  • Designing and delivering tailored sourcing campaigns to attract top talent for high-priority roles
  • Partnering with Resourcing Partners and hiring managers from the outset to manage sourcing requirements and candidate experience
  • Engaging talent communities and providing a best-in-class candidate experience
What you offer
  • Candidate Experience: Strong focus on candidate engagement and relationship building
  • Talent Intelligence Expertise: Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Strong Stakeholder Management: Confidence in partnering with a broad range of stakeholders including our internal team, providing market intelligence, and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Sourcing/headhunting Skills: Proficiency in proactive sourcing techniques, including talent mapping, headhunting, and building diverse talent pipelines
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple priorities effectively while maintaining quality

This role offers excellent exposure to a leading Financial Services organization and the chance to develop hands-on market research, strategic sourcing capabilities, and relationship-building as a talent advisor within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You will join a diverse team and be part of our journey to evolve and elevate our talent sourcing and intelligence functions.

Please note that this role is through Hudson RPO, working onsite at Macquarie Group.
