About the role

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for a casual role with UBLOSSOM PTY LTD in Blacktown, NSW. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and assistance to older adults and individuals with complex disabilities, empowering them to live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement to clients
  • Advocate for clients' needs and actively participate in the development and implementation of their care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the well-being of clients
  • Collaborate with the broader care team to deliver a seamless and coordinated service
What we're looking for
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
  • Experience providing direct care and support to older adults or individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for those in your care
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Current First Aid certificate and National Police Check
  • Own Vehicle and Comprehensive Car Insurance
