What You'll Actually Do (And Why You'll Love It)

• Strategic Technology Mapping: You'll analyse where we are now across both countries, design where we want to be, and create the roadmap to get there. Think detective work, but for systems and processes.

• Hands-On Problem Solving: Roll up your sleeves and get into the codebase. Build APIs, create integrations, prototype AI solutions, and develop custom tools. Your code will be running production systems within weeks, not months.

• Real Impact, Fast: Every efficiency you unlock saves hours of manual work. Every system you connect eliminates frustration. Every dashboard you build enables faster decisions.

What We Need From You

Essential Technical Foundation:

• Hands-on full-stack development experience across multiple technologies

• API integration and system architecture expertise

• Cloud platform proficiency (Azure/AWS)

• Database design and business intelligence tools

• Comfortable building rapid prototypes and showcasing solutions

Essential Business Skills:

• General business acumen with 5+ years in technology consulting or senior development roles

• Mature approach to stakeholder management and communication

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Naturally curious with a strong ability to grasp new concepts quickly

• Experience translating business problems into practical technical solutions

Bonus Points For:

• Practical AI/ML implementation experience

• Agriculture, commodity, or supply chain technology background

• Previous consulting engagements in business transformation

• Experience with enterprise system evaluations and implementations

• Startup or scale-up technology leadership experience - what we mean here is that you favour pragmatism over perfection.

The Honest Truth About This Role

This isn't a typical consulting gig where you write reports and hand them over. You'll be building bridges between immediate operational needs and long-term strategic vision. Some days you'll be coding APIs, other days you'll be presenting technology roadmaps to leadership.

If you need detailed specifications, delegated direction and clear project boundaries, this probably isn't for you.

If you're comfortable with a touch of ambiguity, love solving complex problems with elegant solutions while having a genuine strategic impact, this could be perfect.
