We are seeking a hands-on, safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will be responsible for sorting, grading, and processing metals while providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers
  • Operate machinery including forklifts and excavators/sheers
  • Greet and assist customers professionally
  • Grade and sort recyclable metals
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, leading by example

Qualifications:

  • Current forklift (LF) licence or willingness to learn
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Proactive attitude and openness to upskilling
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work
