Intermediate & Senior Business Services & Tax Accountants

$70,000 to $95,000 +SGC*

Our Client is a well-respected and reputable 2 x Director firm. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of accounting and business advisory services to a wide range of clients and sectors.

Located in the CBD-fringe, the firm is cloud-focused, will support CA/CPA, and provides regular internal/external training/mentoring along with ongoing social events.

This is a high-end intermediate or senior role, which includes producing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships; via large groups, SMEs and individuals, along with client and agency liaison.

DUTIES:

  1. Prepare financial statements & ITRs for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts
  2. Prepare and review complex tax returns for mainly SMEs and/or HNWIs
  3. Prepare BAS, and IAS for clients
  4. Provide complex tax advice to clients
  5. Dealing with CGT, Div7a, UPE, GST, SBTC, FTE/IEE, and FBT
  6. Assist with ad-hoc projects as required and audit assistance to clients
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  8. Comply with professional standards and relevant legislation
  9. Provide technical advice to clients, whilst managing a portfolio of clients
  10. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, with all deadlines met
  11. Support junior staff members with their work papers and mentorship
  12. Keep up to date with taxation laws and changes, and partake in training
  13. Implement sound administrative and organisational processes
  14. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  15. Proficient with MYOB AE/AR & XERO
