Overview

This role involves executing and coordinating service activities related to machines, spares and wears, while delivering exceptional technical services to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Execute and coordinate service activities related to machines, spares and wears, delivering high-quality technical services to customers.
  • Maintain and service a wide range of mobile plant equipment in open cut mining, with focus on HV primary and secondary systems.
  • Bridge the gap between customers, product divisions and sales teams; conduct field service work and lead field projects.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs and reporting; prepare detailed post-site reports and costings as required.
  • Provide technical liaison, promote OEM spare parts and wear materials, and support warranty processes and RCA where needed.
  • Travel to various sites; work with a team in workshop and field service roles; occasional weekend work.
  • Operate with a safety-first approach, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Trade-qualified plant mechanic or motor mechanic; experience as a Heavy Diesel Technician is preferred.
  • Minimum two years' experience in mining, aggregates, or contract crushing; experience with Caterpillar equipment is advantageous.
  • Current motor vehicle license; ability to travel and work weekends as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); comfortable with basic computer tasks and reporting.
  • Physically fit; able to pass medical and drug tests.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills; strong teamwork and leadership potential.
Location and Roles

Locations include Henderson, WA with hybrid work options; roles include field service and workshop positions, with potential for Fly-in Fly-out from Perth or residential in Kalgoorlie.
