Do you have a passion for creating vibrant, functional spaces that bring people together? Australian Venue Co. is on the lookout for an experienced and High-performing Interior Designer to join our growing team and help shape some of the most exciting hospitality venues across Queensland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, hands-on designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to see their concepts come to life in venues that leave a lasting impression.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design process across a wide range of hospitality projects including greenfield builds, refurbishments, and capital upgrades
  • Develop and deliver creative briefs, mood boards, floor plans, and detailed FF&E schedules
  • Collaborate with our Brand, Property, and Project teams to ensure each venue reflects its unique identity and meets guest experience goals
  • Work closely with builders, architects, and suppliers to bring your designs to life
  • Be involved on-site during key project phases to ensure the final result matches the vision

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial interior design or interior architecture experience, ideally within hospitality or similar fast-paced environments
  • Excellent spatial planning and design detailing skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Proficiency in tools like InDesign and Bluebeam is a bonus

Please note: This role is best suited to interior designers or interior architects. We are not seeking qualified architects for this position.
