Overview

Payroll Officer — Type: Full-time. We're working with a client who is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team. They're open to candidates at different stages in their career—whether you're just starting out in payroll or an experienced professional ready to step in and add value.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Maintaining employee records and data accuracy
  • Assisting with payroll queries and support
  • Interpreting awards, EBAs, and contracts
  • Supporting reconciliations and payroll reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax
About You
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Previous payroll experience is an advantage, but training and support are available for junior candidates
  • Familiarity with payroll systems will be highly regarded
