Initial 6-month contract with a possible extension, paying approximately $950/day. Located in Fortitude Valley with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week.

Our client, a large organisation within the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a Customer Information Lifecycle Project.

Responsibilities
  • Functional requirement mapping - managing end-to-end requirements and specifications lifecycle from elicitation through build, testing, and user adoption.
  • Preparing business scenarios and user stories for UAT and Go-Live testing.
  • Reviewing as-built documentation of business and functional rules from the supplier and finalising for operational BAU handover.
  • Contributing to business operations and workflows, recommending improved solutions across people, processes, data, and systems.
  • Ensuring quality assurance of analysis activities and outputs through own and peer reviews.
  • Continuously improving analysis methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Supporting change activities, including employee and leader engagement, training materials, and FAQs.
  • Assisting in SIT and UAT to ensure all requirements are tested and verified.
Experience / Skills
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in digital or IT projects.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
  • Familiarity with UAT, SIT, and release coordination across environments.
  • Ability to review technical documentation and support handover to BAU.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in an agile environment.
  • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM highly regarded.
