Role

Campus Student Support Assistant is a permanent, part-time (0.8) role based at Albany and Gnowangerup Campuses. The position commences in Term 4 on 13 October. Current working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility for the right candidate. Ideally, experience working with students with cognitive, physical, sensory and social-emotional disabilities across Primary and Secondary years.

Campuses
  • Albany – Nestled in the Port City of Albany. The Southern campus encompasses Albany and Gnowangerup, educating 12 students in a coastal setting.
  • Gnowangerup – Surrounded by Stirling Ranges. Home to 18 students from years 3 to 12; a close-knit learning environment with professional fulfilment opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with a student with a disability to enable full participation in classroom and education activities.
  • Liaise efficiently with classroom teachers and campus learning support teachers.
  • Maintain accurate learning records.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Education Support (preferred) or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
