Overview

Harvest Casual | Narromine NSW role at Illawarra Mercury. We have job opportunities for Harvest Casuals - Grain Handlers based at our site in Narromine. This role is casual and involves receiving, storing and loading grain while maintaining focus on site hygiene and cleanliness.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving, storing and loading grain at the Narromine site.
  • Maintain high standards of site hygiene and cleanliness.
Qualifications
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
  • Strong focus on SHS compliance and safety-conscious behaviour.
  • A pre-employment medical fitness declaration will be required prior to commencement.
  • Regular Drug and Alcohol testing conducted.
  • Must be fit for work with a good level of fitness and general health.
Preferred / Additional Information
  • A forklift, front-end loader, reach stacker ticket or an HR Truck licence will be advantageous.
  • We encourage candidates with experience in agriculture, logistics, trades or construction to apply.
