We are seeking a high performing Senior Town Planner to provide specialist town planning and development assessment advice with respect to the state-controlled road network within the South Coast Region.

In the role of Senior Town Planner, you will be involved in corridor planning, development control and network management with respect to the region's state-controlled road network and provide specialist town planning and development assessment advice.

To help keep Queensland moving, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Town Planner with previous exposure to:

  • A Degree in Town Planning or in another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.
  • Experience providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.
  • Effective written communication skills to prepare reports and correspondence for the ministerial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, in order to maintain and manage effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
