About the Role

It's an exciting time to join EVT as we continue to evolve how data and insights shape strategy and unlock business growth. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the delivery of data solutions that drive business performance. You'll work closely with senior BI developers and business stakeholders to support both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior BI developers in the delivery of end-to-end data projects and reports using SQL and Power BI.
  • Provide BAU support for existing BI reports and data models.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests and stakeholder support.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Maintain documentation and develop solutions using reproducible and maintainable approaches.
  • Support report adoption by delivering user training and proactively identifying challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data governance, data quality, and process improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, working with customer and commercial data to generate actionable insights and measurable impact.
  • Experience developing advanced Power BI reports and SQL scripts.
  • Strong commercial acumen, business judgment and experience with commercial storytelling.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Role: Data Analyst (Drive)

Data Analyst – Drive is Nine's automotive-focused brand and Marketplace team in Sydney, NSW.

Job Description

Drive is an iconic Australian brand with an average online monthly audience of 3 million. This role is part of the Product & Technology team and focuses on driving business insights, performance tracking, and product intelligence across digital platforms. You will work with Product, Marketplace, Marketing, and Commercial teams to surface insights that support decision-making, experimentation, and consumer understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analyses across audience, product, content, and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines using GA4, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and Google Console.
  • Translate business questions into structured analytical problems and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing frameworks and analyse experiment results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, data definitions, and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Identify trends and anomalies in large datasets and share insights proactively.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to validate data quality and data flows.
  • Document and maintain data dictionaries and reporting standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic projects, product launches, and commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a data or reporting analyst role, preferably in digital, e-commerce, or media.
  • Proficiency in Excel and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, statistics, and experimental design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; data storytelling.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Exposure to digital media, automotive, or marketplace environments is a plus.
  • Nice-to-haves: BigQuery, SQL, Python, or R; AI automation reporting; experience training stakeholders; self-service data tooling.
