We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Business Analyst to support critical Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions for a major Oil & Gas client. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can bridge technical systems and business needs, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction.

In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to analyse requirements, oversee system changes, and ensure optimal performance of the SAI360 GRC application. You will also play a key role in data integration, reporting, documentation, and end-user support.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings, manage expectations, and track action items.

System Support & Change Coordination

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the GRC application (SAI360 v5.0), ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage change requests, including impact analysis, documentation, approvals, and deployment coordination.
• Maintain data model mappings and manage release calendars.

Data Management & Reporting

• Analyse data requirements and contribute to logical and physical database design.
• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports.
• Support data migration and ETL activities using Pentaho or similar tools.
• Contribute to data quality initiatives and maintain data integrity across systems.

Documentation & Testing

• Prepare and maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical specifications.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

Key Skills & ExperienceIndustry & Application Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas sector with a strong focus on GRC solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAI360 GRC v5.0, including configuration and administration.

Technical Competence

• Proficiency in SQL and database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience with ETL tools (Pentaho preferred) and data migration processes.
• Programming knowledge in PL/SQL, T-SQL, Python, Java, and familiarity with Vue.js.
• Understanding of SAI360 ONEUI for portlet design.

Tools & Methodologies

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL practices.
• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and similar tools.
• Experience with reporting platforms such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and Snowflake.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with proven ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• ITIL certification.
• Certifications in SAI360 Functional and Technical Administration (preferred).
• SQL or Data Engineering certification (desirable).
