About usEventide Home is an 80-bed residential aged care facility, located in Rockhampton. To create a home like environment for residents, the facility actively encourages family to participate in resident activities and care planning. The facility boasts spacious gardens, under cover safe walking promenades with shady seating, an inter denominational chapel, hairdresser and concert hall. The facility is made up of 3 units – Courts, Lodges and Banksia - the administration unit.
About the roleAssist in the provision of a high standard of safe nursing care focussed on resident needs, under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurses (RNs). This position works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and reliable care is provided within the dynamic health environment of Eventide Home Rockhampton.
About you- Whilst not mandatory, a Certificate III Aged Care (or equivalent) or are undertaking and successfully completed the second semester of the second year of a pre-registration university program in a nursing qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Previous experience in residential care or a health service would be well regarded.
- An hourly rate between $40.83 - $44.71 p.h. (Including 25% casual loading)

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
