Overview

Mamamia, a women's content portal, is opening applications for an evening editor based in Surry Hills, NSW. The shift period is 2PM to 10PM Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Produce and edit content for Mamamia's multiple platforms.
  • Identify appropriate angles for stories and proceed accordingly.
  • Ensure the homepage has a balanced concentration of material.
Qualifications
  • Journalism, media or communications graduates with at least five years' experience as a reporter and editor for digital content platforms, including writing and researching quality stories within deadlines.
  • Skilled in high-performance team management and mentoring junior staff.
  • Deep understanding of Australian TV and celebrity culture trends.
