Responsibilities

• Deliver contemporary, evidence-based pedagogy with a strong emphasis on excellence across all curriculum areas to empower each student to reach their full potential.
• Plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programs and assessments that meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Differentiated instruction and the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
• Promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning).
• Work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and uphold Catholic Education ethos and culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher
• Active NESA Accreditation
• Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Completion of anaphylaxis training
• Completion of CPR training
• Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school (Catholic applicants for Primary or Religion Teaching positions)
• Ability to plan and prepare teaching programs and assessments that meet diverse learning needs and encourage students to reach their potential
• Demonstrated ability to use assessment data to optimise outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff and the wider community
• Innovative and agile mindset to support continuous improvement
