What You'll Do- Be the steady voice and caring presence for children, young people, and their non-offending family members.
- Coordinate case management within JCPRP, ensuring every child and family receives the right support.
- Link families with vital health services, medical and forensic assessments, and psychosocial care.
You'll join the Child and Family Allied Health Team at Tamworth Community Health Service, part of the Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) network. The team values collaboration, wellbeing, and opportunities for growth.
About You- Experience navigating child protection responses in complex environments.
- Clear, calm, and confident communication in high-stress, multi-agency settings.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities with a focus on children, young people, and families.
- Minimum qualification: bachelor's degree in social work eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or a four-year degree in psychology (or 3-year degree with honours) providing full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia; or a bachelors degree in counselling or related field, or other employer-approved qualification.
- Eligibility to drive in NSW.
- Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme payments (up to $10,000 in the first 12 months, plus up to $5,000 each year thereafter) for eligible applicants.
