Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) Permanent full-time opportunity Location negotiable, Hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $145,378 to $168,130 + super The Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Investigations in a full-time ongoing capacity.
NRAR enforces the NSW water laws and offers guidance and education to help water users comply.

Working with NRAR provides a chance to make sure water is used lawfully so that all communities and the environment get a fair share.
About You The Manager Investigations will lead and manage a regional Investigations Team to provide effective and efficient delivery and continual improvement of best practice water investigation operations services to maintain public confidence in the enforcement of the water management regulations.
Key aspects of the role will include: Plan for and monitor performance of all investigative strategies and operations, evaluate their effectiveness (in respect of both outcomes and efficiencies) and identify, recommend and pursue improvement opportunities; Research and assess, develop, implement, maintain and continually improve systems, procedures, business instructions and protocols to optimise outcomes and facilitate stakeholder confidence; Continually enhance investigative capabilities through the formulation and delivery of effective professional development initiatives and related resources; Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders, including co-regulators and legal service providers, in order to optimise outcomes; and, Monitor and report on investigative performance against key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with agency priorities and use operational data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive strategic improvements.
