About the Role We are seeking an experienced part-time Environmental Advisorto work collaboratively to deliver high-quality environmental solutions and results at our Thiess Mt Arthur South Project located in Muswellbrook.

Working 3 days per week and reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and project approvals Management of top-soiling stripping works including quality assurance Ensuring the successful implementation of the Environmental Management System and compliance to the Client's Environmental Management Plans Delivering environmental training and awareness programs Ensuring environmental initiatives and innovations are effectively communicated and promoted to strengthen the culture within the business Collation of reports to meet legislative and client requirements Liaison with the client and regulator Co-ordinating environmental inspections and auditing programs and maintaining associated documentation and records Providing interpretation of environmental data and regular progress reports against environmental performance targets About You A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field is essential, along with proven experience in a site-based environmental management role in heavy industry, preferably mining.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders, with proficiency in Microsoft applications A current driver's license is required.
Lead Auditor qualifications in Environmental Management Systems are desirable but not mandatory.
