
Graduate Biomedical Engineer

Your role Responsibilities Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of laboratory diagnostic instruments and automation systems.
Assisting with the deployment and integration of new equipment in laboratory settings.
Responding to technical issues and ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime.
Maintaining accurate service records, including inventory, service orders, and reports.
Adhering to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and compliance regulations.
Providing technical support and training to customers and stakeholders.
Contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.
Participating in training programs, including self-learning and hands-on experience.
Supporting on-call duties as part of a rostered system to provide 24/7 customer support.
Travelling as required for customer support and national training events.
About you Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
Valid driver's license and permanent work rights in Australia.
Proficiency in MS Windows environments; knowledge of LIS systems, Middleware Solutions, Linux, CAN-BUS, and interfacing principles is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong self-organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Commitment to high service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Professional and positive attitude, ability to remain composed under pressure, and a proactive approach to learning.
Technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Willingness to participate in the on-call roster.
