We're seeking a data-driven, commercially savvy Category Manager with a passion for revenue optimisation to join the high performing team at SC Johnson.
In this role you will: Partner with Insights and Marketing to influence how our trusted brands present in market.
Own Net Revenue Management (NRM) on promotional/trade spend strategy and optimisation, drive smart pricing strategies and CPI management.
Develop and lead best in class category review process, supporting Sales and Customer Marketing to deliver these reviews and action customer planning days.
Provide recommendations on portfolio, range, space and prioritisation for your assigned categories that are aligned with HQ / ANZ Marketing Commercialisation Analyse Promotional/Pricing strategy by Channel to provide recommendations Input into, and modelling of impact of Annual Smart Pricing/CPI Strategy Modelling of trade spend optimization by customer/channel, with support from Account Teams and Finance What You'll Bring to the role: Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG in an insights & data driven Category / Marketing / Sales role Degree qualified in Business / Commerce / Marketing or related field.
Experience with NIQ / IRI / Quantium Clear understanding of category drivers and metrics with experience in the Australian Grocery/FMCG market Experience in Net Revenue Management with strong commercial acumen Excellent presentation skills - strong presence in front of retailers and senior management Ability to analyse data to develop insight led plans for category growth and commercial improvement Desired Competencies / Behaviours: Be high energy and ambitious to learn and succeed Have excellent negotiation skills and be comfortable entering into robust conversations Strong data analysis skills, with a structured & logical thought process Strong commercial acumen and communication skills Understanding of commercial modelling and ability to interpret numbers/data What You'll Get in Return: SC Johnson's is committed to providing a Great Place to Work for all its employees.
